The primary goal of the Lincoln City Bike Advocacy Group is to increase ease and safety for cyclists within and travelling through Lincoln City, Oregon. The Oregon Coast Bike Route on Highway 101 is a favored route by cycling tourists around the world and is the main connection for the local cyclist as well. The Lincoln City Bike Advocacy Group works with local governments, sits on other bike/ped committees, and sponsors rides to bring together local cycling enthusiasts. This site contains information about how you can join us and advocate for safer bike routes, increased bicycling tourism, and better cycling infrastructure at one of our bi-monthly meetings, or how to simply take part in in our monthly rides exploring Lincoln City and the Oregon Coast by bicycle. All are welcome.
| Organized Rides The Lincoln City Bike Advocacy Group sponsors two organized rides per month during the cycling season. One less than 10 miles within Lincoln City's city limits and a longer morning ride exploring the areas up and down the Oregon Coast. The short rides are on the 2nd Saturday of the month, and the longer rides on the 4th Saturday. | Current Projects Thanks to Lincoln City Urban Renewal a series of new bike parking racks will be installed throughout Lincoln City. Racks will be installed in public right of ways near Kenny's IGA South, Mo's on SW 51st, Cyber Garden Cafe, the Rockfish Bakery, City Hall, and the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Please contact us if you would like to be involved in this project or would like more information.
